Valley Anesthesia, P.C. is a group of anesthesiologists (M.D. and D.O.) and nurse anesthetists (CRNA) serving patients in southwestern Virginia. Our primary location is LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia where we offer a full range of anesthesia services. We also practice at LewisGale Hospital, Blacksburg, Virginia.
Valley Anesthesia provides over 10,000 anesthetics annually and includes anesthesia for general, orthopedic, obstetrical, thoracic, cardiovascular and neurosurgical procedures. We also provide anesthesia for a variety of non-OR needs such as endoscopy, interventional radiology and cardiology.
Certification by the American Board of Anesthesiology is required to be a member of Valley Anesthesia, and all the nurse anesthetists of Valley Anesthesia are certified by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
